DVAP Pi Hotspot

PocketCloud

These steps are not required, they are showing how to setup PocketCloud on an Android phone/tablet.  PocketCloud is a VNC client like TightVNC is for Windows.  This will only work if the phone or tablet is on the same network as the Pi.

Download and install PocketCloud from the Google Play Store.

Hit Skip wizard.

Next to My computers, hit +.

Hit VNC.

Enter an identifying nickname, like DVAP Pi.

Enter the Host Address.  In this case: 192.168.43.164.

Enter the VNC Password.

For Port, enter 5901 for display “:1.”

Make sure there are no extra spaces anywhere.

Hit Save.

Hit DVAP Pi.

You will be connected to the Pi!
