Ham Nation

To say I’m a huge fan of Ham Nation might be an understatement.  As I noted on my Computer page, I watch alot of programming on TWiT.  It’s amazing to have a show about Ham Radio on such a prestigious network.

As years went on, TWiT developed a number of issues.  Ham Nation was cancelled from TWiT in December 2020.  The show moved to the YouTube channel of KI6NAZ.  I decided to step down as NCS after 2020.

D-STAR After Show Net

Prior to joining the D-STAR net, my greatest accomplishment was making the TWiT website as a checkin to the After Shows Nets and listed in the Show Notes.

I got the chance to run the D-STAR After Show Net on 5/21/14.  It was a great time!  I’m now honored to be a friend of the show and join Dave – KB9VZU and Alan – VK5PBZ as net controllers.

I created a website for the net.  As Don – AE5DW put it “it’s a virtual clearing house” for everything related to the show.  The website is HamNationDSTAR.Net

Check out the nice plug we received from Don AE5DW on episode 163:

Contests

I was George’s Tech contest prize winner on episode 115! Take a look…

Special Events

I was invited to be the digital net coordinator for the Ham Nation 300th episode special even planning committee.

I participated as a digital special event station.
